It was so cheesy it would probably make any other girl cringed,

Unlike in any other love story,
I cant say that i finally found you
The universe didnt separate us and then makes us meet in a cute coincidence
And so we have a story we can brag of to our grand children
You didnt suddenly come to me and paint the whole world pink
You were there from the very beginning

You were there during our juvenile time
When i all could think of was how the love songs rhyme

You were there when i was so in love i couldnt sleep
Cause i couldnt shake you off of mind i fell so deep

It's not "are you really in love with me?"
Or "do you think of somebody else too?"
It's "will i ever be enough for you?"
That haunts me the most.

When I Pray About Us

I never pray for what's best for us
